I wonder what they would think of the rigged eagle mountain? You can spend money on gems and use those gems for more "chances" in the "eagle mountain casino" for a "random" prize. The use of gems as currency masks the true "cost" of what you must pay to move on in the eagle mountain.
For example, continuing in the eagle mountain 4 times would equal 20 + 50 + 100 + 200 + 400= 770 gems. At first, you may shrug at 770 gems, but keep in mind that a pack of only 550 gems is $9.99. No you can see the kind of money that may be at stake here when you take into account the amount of gems it takes to continue on.

Now, most people won't "risk" that many gems (or that much money). Some people may be "lucky" enough to leave with more gems than they went in with. But, eagle mountain is designed to make you want to spend, and that urge to continue on, can be strong for many. If you did end up spending, you would expect that the eagle mountain "casino" would disclose the odds for obtaining each price (just like they now have to do for the eggs since you can "spend" gem currency on them also) OR at the VERY least be fair in that they would not intentionally try to deceive you, and that the odds of obtaining each prize/ pig would be the same for all players.

One of the problems here is that the odds for winning rewards in the eagle mountain are VERY misleading. The 4 doors would imply that there is a 1/4 chance for each prize. No one who has played in the Eagle mountain would argue that the odds of obtaining the EM and the coins is much higher than the chance of receiving a silver ticket or the evolution essence. To re-affirm this idea, after you choose a door, the game opens the other doors to show you the prizes that you "could" have gotten, if only you would have chosen a different door (not true!). The failure to disclose the TRUE odds to users and making the odds appear BETTER than they really are is completely unfair and misleading.

Secondly, doing the testing they have been doing and not informing users is unfair. We have all seen that some people may have different odds or prizes than others, which breeds mistrust and disdain.

I needed to get this off of my chest and I will just leave you with this from Rovio's Code of Conduct that is posted on their own website:

LOL... OMG, that's simultaneously the funniest & most inaccurately sad thing I've read in a long time! :D:rolleyes:o_O:confused::(

Seriously though, I've been wondering how they get away not disclosing the odds in EM?

I think we already know the odds for EM.

    49% Gold
    48% Evo Mat
    1% Gems
    1% Tickets

    100% ticket at floor 20

    50% of pig

I know you are exaggerating but I get about 60% evo mats with pigs & gold making up the rest. Yes, 100% silver ticket on floor 20 but you cant get there anymore without hitting 3-4 first pigs so no more silver tickets from EM for me (or most others I assume)... I cant even get to floor 8 anymore without hitting 2 pigs.

Yeah I’m just taking a guess lol.

But I do agree that Rovio’s should either make it actually random like early EM or show the odds of getting a reward.

I also believe that the doors are not random. Rovio has it rigged so that there will be a pig behind the door, no matter what door you pick.

Of course, the EM is rigged. Not long after ABE came out, EM was a pot of gold to make gems. Not anymore. Now it's very difficult. Like A. Wolf said, I'll hit the thief within the first 5 floors. That's it, I'm done. I won't continue further to spend my hard earned precious gems. As of now on a daily basis, the EM has a 5-star bird at the top that will make some people desperate to get them by spending real $$$. I got enough 5-star birds to spend gems in the EM but for my clan to keep the perks active.

Just go 2 floors, 3rd floor always has pig, at least you get 20 Evo mats + first entry gems

I am getting a pig pretty regularly at level 9...at that point i am out! If I get run that starts to look good, I might be willing to pay some gems to continue for some decent rewards, or if there is a good bird I don't yet have, but this is way more dependent on the frequency of pigs rather than the desirability of the rewards.
