We can surely agree that ABE silver and golden ticket are pure form of gambling.

Maybe You heard about Starwars Battlefront II controversy. In short, people boycotted this game because gameplay is strogly affected by in-game purchases.

EU, USA and Australia are preparing to change the laws, to restrict gambling for minors. So anyone under age of 18 shouldn't be exposed to gambling and adverse effects on it.

Who's interested, there is a video in deep about this issue.

What do you think about this game's future? Because it will be surely affected and it is a matter of months. And it won't be a year passed after game's launch. Maybe "New Games" pop-up in-game is because of this? to transfer current players to other Rovio games?

The game itself could be paid. So developers would need to create appealing content and make cosmetic or something purchases. When purchases decide the gameplay - it's BS.

And in ABE you can buy gems -> hatch eggs -> Get best birds -> Be the best and superior to others.

    Pure pay to win.

And you can't just buy Chuck, you need to burn money and hope to win a prize. Like a casino. Spin a wheel and hope that odds are in your favour. So it is really not user friendly, and especially for kids, who needs to be recognized. So it is fault not for players, but for developers. And if you have extra 10k for a game - cool. If you are forced to spend 100$ more because you already spent 2.000$ and got nothing - it's a different case

Your last paragraph is sorta contradicting yourself. In the first paragraph, u are saying that paying to be superior to others in game is BS. But the last paragraph u said that we are forced to pay (which isn't really the case most of the time in ABE given that many don't pay yet get top birds) and that u also implied that we should get be able to pay for birds like chuck.

So u are against the "wilson" loot box concept of gaming but endorse pay to win by asking Rovio to just allow us to buy top birds?

I prefer to pay a flat rate for a game rather than in-game purchases. Would not pay monthly for almost all games

In this game you only have to pay a lot if you are impatient or do not dedicate a lot of time grinding

Nice video Riedgu thanks for sharing. There are a couple of things though:
    1) This game COULD be a prized game from the start but that goes against what the video proposes (which is very true) and that is that: game producers and executives want to make AS MUCH MONEY AS POSSIBLE. That is why they are going with the freemium gacha model... its simple, it works and its addictive.
    2) This game is NOT PURE P2W. You can achieve 20k+ trophy count in PVP with a full four star team and not have spent a dime. It's time-consuming, yeah but it always comes down to either spend money or spend time (which is money if your time is worth something).
    3) I completely agree loot boxes/gacha systems are glorified gambling mechanics and should not be allowed to operate in games for kids... I hope the industry gets regulated in this regard.
    4) You don't have to forget the main purpose of the game either, that is to have fun and enjoy the ride. If at any moment you feel frustrated or angered by it, put the phone down and take a break...If this does not work, uninstall the app and move on. There are literally hundreds of other games out there that are marvelous and do not rely on loot boxes or gacha systems ;)

Well said. Protest with your money. I play PS4 too and they are starting. A game I was really forward to playing the sequel came out it has micro transactions in the game and I am refusing to buy the game at any price. One month later it is down to $25 from $59. More people do this the developers will figure it out quickly

I have not paid a dime. And like that you can play this game for free and get far. Though I miss the days when I'd get a 10x or 2 per event, or silvers for that matter. At least I can generally replenish berries to 10-15 between events.

You needs income to develope the game. So it can be:
Paid game. After paying flat rate - you enjoy full game
In game transactions. You buy what you need, without gambling

But I am against hidden gambling and ruining game elements because of greed for money
