How does the point distribution work in the arena? lose to player a 59 points a round later same opponent. win against players a 15 points ??? why. sorry if the question ever appeared.

Don’t think there is any logic in gains and losses points I. The arena.

    It's based on trophy points.
Yeah, everyone bashes Rovio for it, whilst Rovio respond thinking it's a good plan...
No Rovio, it's not. Base it off of POWER LEVEL.

Arena points are as Buds says based on your actual trophy count vs enemys trophy count.

If player A, with 7000 trophies, gets matched vs Player B, with 6000 trophies, Player A will win 10-15 trophies if winning, or will lose 35-50 trophies if losing.
If same player A, with 7k trophies, is matched vs Player C, with 6990-7010 trophies, he will win 25 trophies or lose 25 trophies.
Obviously it works in the upper way too, Player B from my first example would win 35-50 trophies if winning against Player A.

I think it is fair, if gives medium-lower players a chance in arena. If ranking would be based on power level, than the highest arena tier (7k+) would have just like 30-35k+ power players. Lower ones wouldn't get a chance to reach up there (talking as an 24k power player in 9.5k+ trophies zone).

Play long enough and see the teams of some lower level players you will see it is not fair. You are not playing against real people live. Should be standard win loss
