Activity of staff in this forum

    It's no secret that customer support is lacking of interest in players' problems. More attention is paid for money making, but strategy where they earn a bit less at a time and build strong players' base who will profit them in a long term is utopia. And I saw funny fact.

    I tried to contact WingmanJuan, who had answered me that it's ok no to answer player questions about MPDC and it's ok not to delegate it to someone. And I saw that there is option to see when he was last seen here. So there is a list of staff members, based on their activity.

    Now it is 2017-12-11 1AM GMT +2 time, Monday

    Last seen are:
    1. WingmanJuan on Thursday 2:45PM
    2. Polen on Tuesday 1:18PM
    3. Queen Elsa on Tuesday 12:41PM
    4. TheBeardyBirdy on November 30th
    5. MinasMorGhoul on October 16th
    6. Ryz on September 5th
    7.Red on July 17th
    8. Ville on June 12th

    So, conclusions are:

    1. There are only 3 staff members visiting this forum frequently.
    2. WingmanJuan and Queen Elsa participate in forum while Polen only watch what happens and do not communicate.
    3. ABE hasn't dedicated person to talk with players.
    4. Even when they communicate - they don't care about player's base

    so the question is:

    How come someone approve this kind of strategy to run the game?

    Do you have any extra thoughts on this?

    Ryz is now long on the ABE team as per an announcement on the ABE discord server, as to the other people no idea

    Queen does a great job communicating with players on Facebook, forums and even the ABE unofficial Discord but keep in mind that it would be impossible to keep track and answer everyone... Plus not everyone mentioned in under the staff members are responsible of the forum activity.

    Vexim, then maybe you can answer few questions?

    1. When MPDC will be accessed to "new" players?
    2. Will we get compensation for inability to access part of the game, which helps to earn rare rewards to improve birds SS. It's huge disadvantage for us.
    3. Why it was removed?

    If you can't answer these questions, can you delegate them to someone with right knowledge? Just PLEASE, do not copy paste the same BS the customer support tells us. It's no answers, while some of the staff says that's the question they do not communicate on.

    This game has millions of players and there is no dedicated person to read official forum and communicate our issues to the developers. That's the main issue and reason I wrote this post.

    As Remix mentioned we are not part of the Rovio staff but I'll do my best to find an answer and keep you posted.
    Regarding your questions, I can only speculate but it seems that:
    3) The implementation of MP didn't help very much with the numbers (?) and was probably changed due to an in-game economy desition (not a game designers desition).
    The way it rolled out, in the beginning, was fantastic. It was challenging and rewarding at the same time, kept players interested and looking forward to improving their teams.
    After the first change to MP, it was clear that the rewards were too high and the mode got reduced to a mere shadow of what it initially was. I would like to believe that in the future
    they will tune it up to be something similar to how it used to be ....
    2) Mobile games are NOT FAIR and its part of the business, ABE is not an exception. I would NOT expect new players to get any sort of compensation for the lack of the MP challenge.
    Random players have been part of A/B testing groups since global launch and there was no compensation whatsoever for the rest of the players. From scouts timers of 10 and 30 minutes to higher PVP gem rewards, and yet, nada. Who knows maybe this time it will be different...
    1) I doubt this is a question even the devs or CS could answer... IMO, it's a desition that will come from the higher-ups. If MP proves to be profitable, then it will return.
    If I get any official info about it ill keep you updated otherwise that's all there is sadly.

    are they removing daily challenge ? I know its gone for new players, but for us who have it.. Are you saying they plan to remove it entirely in the future?

    @Dan1212 no Dan, that's not what I'm saying. As far as I'm aware MP is not going anywhere for those who always had it. Unfortunately I can't give anymore more details because there are none to give atm. We will just have to be patient and hope devs come up with something to make it up for those who don't have MP.

    alright cool.. By the way vexim, I wrote it on the guide, and i will write it here again.. Remove the suggestion of steam ship barrage from Terence. That evolution does not work correctly and is terrible. Sumo evolution is his only choice ( but even that isnt any good, but still better than steamship). In the guide write . Steamship is bugged so go sumo. Perhaps if Rovio see that the official guide of Angry birds evolution does not recommend an evolution with a bug note, they will fix.

    It has never worked correctly.. the bird is terrible.

    Also change Darlene evolution suggestion to ALWAYS "dead pool". Once again the poor wording on the evolutions would make one feel intense combo evolution has its uses.. But it doesn't.. Its vastly inferior to deadpool darlene.. As the description doesn't say that even wall bounces count as counting combos. Dead pool darlene can rake up way more combo than intense combo darlene.

    I knew about major pecker not being available for new players a very long time ago..This isn't something recent.. as I think it was implemented the day they changed the challenge to not allow the silver ticket in one go.. However its a stupid idea and I've ranted and raved about it..

    One thing I know for certain is that nobody who devs for this game actually reads these forums or responds to anything of substance. The most we got out of Queen Elisa or whatever her name is , Was to talk about the spam bot... When it came to engaging substance.. We have heard nothing but crickets..

    They don't read these forums, They have hacks working in support that probably have scripts that look for key words in your messages and respond automatically with canned responses and their official facebook page was already shown to have nothing to do with the dev team as the angry birds evolution page was congratulating the "folks over at the chimera team" (which shows detachment). There is no way anyone of us here can get in contact with anybody on the Dev team because they are shielded by incompetence.

    I mean look at me, I've called these dev's are a bunch of retards.. And they are.. You won't get any response here.

    We have been complaining about Major pecker for ages now and requests to buff certain pathetic birds have gone ignored.
    I wouldn't get any hopes up for any compensation from this team for the daily challenge.
    They changed the whole supershot system for the daily and then decided it was a smart idea to remove the daily challenge for new players "with the existing supershot system still in place".

    I rest my case.. A bunch of retards they are.

    They removed everything for new players to try to make more money, only it is backfiring because new players aren't going to play the piece of shit game. Support is awful, Arena match making is the worst of any game in history and new players get shafted equals a game game that is dying quickly.

    What’s rubbed me the wrong way the most is how customer support used to be pretty reasonable. I didn’t always get compensation for a bug, but I always felt listened to. Sometimes they can’t offer company that’s fine.

    But they’ve started being really rude and insist it must be a problem on my end because it’s just impossible it’s ABE (unless the servers are down). I’d actually prefer a message like the one from Francis posted above instead of some of the rude nonsense I’ve gotten.

    What angers me even more is when I’m told something isn’t a bug, then I see someone post in here that customer support confirmed it was indeed a bug.

    I honestly only continue playing because I like my clan, but I hate the changes to MPDC and events.

    So, it appears we have only 2 staff members who have logged in here in last 2 weeks. All other are absent.

    My question - what is the use to create a platform to communicate with players if no one is listening to them?

    Well there’s us listen to newer players when they ask questions.

    Also when a major controversy pops up I belive QueenElsa usually resolves the problem a few days later.

    So we don’t know when the mods come back unless a major controversy happens.
